Reporting to: Product Distribution Team Manager 

The Aggregator Brands Team Leader will take an overall strategic view of the Alpha and Get Going Travel Insurance brands (more may follow), and then support the channel specialists in the planning and execution of the resulting marketing plans, to ensure we deliver if not exceed KPIs.



  • Work with the channel specialists to create and implement short and long-term marketing plans, with the aim of maintaining aggregator sales, increasing direct sales, improving brand awareness and customer loyalty
  • Build extensive knowledge of the aggregator brands, their products, the marketplace and key competitors
  • Have the ability to plan at least 12 months in advance with a clear executable strategy built to maximise ROI
  • Report on high-level KPIs and understand all brand strategies and marketing plans
  • Coach, mentor and advise the channel specialists
  • Assist in conducting monthly 1 to 1s and performance reviews
  • Manage sickness absence and conduct return to work interviews
  • Participate in and drive forward the recruitment process
  • Work with the Underwriting team to review and implement changes to product and pricing to ensure market share is maintained and built upon
  • Understand, monitor and plan against the loss ratios of the brands as a whole as well as individual schemes
  • Be responsible for marketing campaign direction, tone, consistency, and delivery as well as the successes or failures of any campaigns
  • Analyse and report on successful/unsuccessful strategies
  • Liaise with key partners such as travel companies or charities to acquire and/or maintain affiliate relationships
  • Work with marketing agencies to plan and direct advertising campaigns with the express goal of ensuring ROI
  • Challenge SLAs and work plans to ensure change can be implemented in minimal time with maximum success
  • Maximise customer retention and acquisition by analysing and implementing change
  • Have a high-level understanding of all routes to market through constantly monitoring and reviewing touchpoints and strategies
