Reporting to: Head of Product Distribution

Hours: 40 per week – Monday to Friday

tifgroup require an eCommerce executive to join the ecommerce division within group to assist in the planning, maintenance, growth and development the eCommerce strategy across direct and partner online travel insurance brands.

Reporting to Head of Product Distribution the candidate with need excellent communication skills liaising with internal divisions within group as well as external suppliers.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Affiliate Marketing – Managing the affiliate marketing channel across direct and partner brands to continue to grow this channel and develop the on-going marketing strategy currently in place to achieve maximum ROI. The candidate will attend meetings with the affiliate network to develop the on-going affiliate strategy and ensure KPI’s are hit on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Strategy – Analysing affiliate performance in driving traffic and sales, whilst identifying strategies to optimize performance. Providing ROI forecasts for new strategy adoption.
  • Relationship Management – Building relationships with new affiliates as well as maintaining and improving existing relationships. Liaising and working with our affiliate network provider to assist in the development of the account.
  • Affiliate Recruitment – Researching and sourcing new affiliate to add to our existing programs. Attending networking events and building relationships to help drive the affiliate channel.
  • Reporting – The candidate will be responsible for reporting marketing performance to the head of eCommerce, internal divisions and external partners on a weekly and monthly basis detailing the work undertaken to date, current performance levels and planned work to be undertaken to ensure KPI’s are met.
  • Accounting – Working closely with internal accounts team to assist in validation of affiliate sales. Ensuring affiliates are being assigned correct commission amounts and that monthly pay-away are reported to the accounts team.
  • Testing – Conduct second phase testing to confirm our in house development team site updates are acceptable to be released to live environments for the channels mentioned above.

 

Personal Qualities & Key Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external suppliers.
  • Good commercial acumen and understanding of consumer buying behaviour.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven.
  • Able to manage their own marketing projects and processes
  • Strong Microsoft office skills with a focus on Excel.
  • Can work on his/her own initiative.
  • Ability to prepare and present performance reports to senior level management.
  • Strong planning skills with attention to meeting deadlines.

 

Desirable but not required as training can be provided;

  • Knowledge of google products including google analytics.
  • Experience in relevant tools such as Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform.
  • Ability to read/write HTML.
  • Knowledge/understanding of online marketing channels such as SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing.
  • Knowledge of the wordpress CMS platform.

 

Experience

  • Experience in a similar online marketing role
  • Degree or vast hands on experience in related subject
