Reporting to: SEO Team Leader

tifgroup require an eCommerce executive to join the eCommerce division within group to assist in the planning, maintenance, growth and development the eCommerce strategy across direct and partner online travel insurance brands.

Reporting to SEO Team Leader the candidate with need excellent communication skills liaising with internal divisions within group as well as external suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities

The role includes the following key responsibilities;

  • SEO – The candidate will be responsible for delivering the TIFG brand and partner SEO strategies to ensure KPI’s are achieved and assist developing the on-going strategy for this channel. The candidate should have good communication skills to ensure the relevant updates are implemented by our internal development teams within the required timescales.
  • Typical duties will include but not limited to, digital PR, outreach, on page optimization, content review, offsite SEO optimization, partnership and link building.
  • Agency Management– The candidate will attend meetings with our Digital agencies to develop the on-going strategy whilst working closely with direct and partner brands to help develop the cross-channel marketing strategy to maximise ROI across all channels.
  • Reporting – The candidate will be responsible for reporting marketing performance to the SEO team leader, internal divisions and external partners on a weekly and monthly basis detailing the work undertaken to date, current performance levels and planned work to be undertaken to ensure KPI’s are met.
  • Testing – Conduct second phase testing to confirm our in-house development team site updates are acceptable to be released to live environments for the channels mentioned above.
  • To refer to SEO team leader when any work falls outside their area of knowledge or expertise.

 

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external suppliers.
  • Good commercial acumen and understanding of consumer buying behavior.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including word and Excel.
  • Can work on his/her own initiative.
  • Ability to prepare and present performance reports to senior level management.
  • Strong planning skills with attention to meeting deadlines.

 

Desirable but not required as training can be provided;

  • Knowledge of google products including google analytics.
  • Experience in relevant tools such as Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform.
  • Basic knowledge of popular SEO and keyword research tools such as Screaming Frog, SEM Rush, Open Site Explorer, Google Keyword Planner etc.
  • Ability to read/write HTML.
  • Knowledge/understanding of online marketing channels such as SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing.
  • Knowledge of the wordpress CMS platform.

 

Experience

  • Experience in a similar online marketing role
  • Agency experience desirable
  • Degree in related subject
